Dr. Ribas was born and raised in Miami, Fl.  Upon graduation from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy she attended the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor's degree degree in Animal Sciences. She then traveled to the Midwest where she earned her veterinary degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has now moved back to sunny Florida where she is honored to be able to practice medicine and give back to her hometown. 

 Dr. Ribas spends her free time fishing, hiking and cheering on the Florida Gators (Go Gators!). She shares most of her adventures with her dogs, Hunter and Mako. She also has a cat she calls "Misifu", a gecko and a turtle.
